We have so many teachers at my school who have the entirely wrong idea as to what their profession is all about.

First of all, they repeatedly tell me that I’ll never use half the things I’m learning here. That really makes me want to try.

Second of all, they care about my dresscode more than my education. “Never mind that you have a test next period, go home and change into pants that don’t have a quarter inch rip in them.”

Third, they tell me they don’t even want to be there. That they wish they had been a nurse, president, dolphin, etc.
